Biography

Khoi Nguyen holds a PhD in Computer Science from Oregon State University and is currently a Staff Research Scientist at Qualcomm AI Research. His primary research focuses on Reinforcement Learning and World Models for Robot Learning, deep generative models (diffusion, flow-matching, and autoregressive models) for visual content synthesis, and 3D/4D reconstruction, understanding, and generation. He has published over 20 papers at top-tier Computer Vision conferences, including CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, and NeurIPS, and has mentored 15+ AI residents who collectively published 20+ papers and secured admissions to prestigious PhD programs. Beyond research, Khoi serves as an Area Chair for NeurIPS and BMVC, and as a reviewer for CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, ICLR, NeurIPS, TPAMI, and TIP. He has also co-organized the SyntaGen workshop at CVPR 2024 and 2025. He earned the Outstanding Reviewer Award at ECCV 2020, and his team received the Best Paper – Honorable Mention Award at WACV 2023.
